We would like to thank everyone who came out to see any of our performances during the 2016-2017 school year. In December of 2016 we were able to produce the outstanding ensemble comedy/drama Almost, Maine. This production provided diverse and challenging opportunities for our actors, as well as our stage crew members who had to build a large and impressive rotating set, while also manufacturing a full complement of artificial Birch trees. It was a beautiful production! In March of 2017, we pushed our exploration of true ensemble theatre further with our production of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee. Not only did this hysterical musical comedy allow our actors to showcase their vocal and dance skills, but it also allowed us to really interact with our audiences on a personal level, as they were invited on stage to participate in a spelling bee right along side our extremely talented cast. Finally, in June of 2017, we partnered with the school's Gay/Straight Alliance to present a staged reading of The Laramie Project. This incredibly emotional performance was in honor of the victims of violence and hate everywhere, and was presented in memory of one of the victims of the 2016 Pulse Nightclub shooting. It was a meaningful and intense experience for all involved. Your patronage is essential to the success of our program, and we truly hope you enjoyed our most recent season of theatre. Please check back in the Fall for info about our first production of the 2017-2018 school year. Thanks again!!
